About event
🌟🎄 Christmas Day is a great joy for our mission and our Temple Holiday! 🎄🌟
We sincerely invite all parishioners, residents of Portland and guests from all over Oregon and the surrounding area to celebrate this great and bright holiday together. Christmas is a time when hearts are filled with peace, hope and gratitude to God for His love.
🕊️ At 10:30 a solemn, festive Divine Liturgy will be celebrated.
We will thank the Lord for the year we have lived - a year of work, development and growth of our mission. It was a rich and very important time for us, and we gratefully bring it all before God.
🕯️ After the service, there will be a solemn silence.
💠 On this day, the relics of the holy Pratulin martyrs, which we have for our mission, will be exhibited in the church. It is a great blessing to have the opportunity to pray near the saints who have testified their faith with their lives.
🌟 At 12:00 our festive event will begin.
A special part will be the performance of our Nativity scene, which we prepare with great love and effort. The children and adults of our community work hard to give you a warm Christmas atmosphere and through this event remind you of the joy of the Savior's birth.
🎶 After the performance, we will carol a lot and glorify the newborn Jesus together.
We also invite each child to tell the story of the wedding - it always brings special joy!
🍪 There will be a festive treat after the event.
Please, if possible, bring something to common table Together we create a warm, family atmosphere of our mission.
✨ This holiday is special for us, because we rejoice at both the Christmas of Christ and our Temple Holiday. May the Lord strengthen our community, grant unity and peace in hearts.
🙏 Let us pray to the newborn Jesus for peace for Ukraine, for strength for our people and protection for all who need God's protection.
🎄🌟 We gladly invite everyone to join the prayer and celebration! Christ is born! 🌟🎄
