About event
Underdogs' collective presents:
SWAIN & STRESS & TĒR // sun, 24.11.2024 // Underdogs'
-----
Dutch genre chameleons Swain returns to Underdogs' after five years. The band, formerly known as This Routine Is Hell, broke away from their hardcore punk roots and with the change of name to Swain significantly changed their sound. On 'The Long Dark Blues', their debut as Swain, the hair band ditched their hardcore aggression for a grunge soaked in golden nineties. Further musical development was brought by the follow-up 'Negative Space', on which Swain delved into introspective, melancholic indie/alt rock.
Swain are currently in the process of releasing a new EP, the individual songs of which are planned to be released in over the course of several months. So far, the title track 'Monochrome' and recently also 'Joy' are out, with two more songs awaiting release. In addition, according to the band's words on social networks, they have another 11 songs ready, which should be released as a new LP during the next year.

STRESS and TĒR will play before Swain - new formations, old familiar companies. Prague's STRES have currently released their first album Devil Food. The hallmark of rattling chains and a smoky saxophone. TĒR promise a post-hardcore/post-metal attack. Their first album 'ASMR' is released electronically on 17.11.
