Swap & Style Modra - Replace and shine! Spring 2025. Come to refresh your spring wardrobe for the first city swap clothing organized by the town of Modra and the Cultural Center Modra on 14. 2. - 15. It means exchange ♥
Slovak expression swap is taken from the English 'swap', which means to replace. In recent years, in our country, "swap" has increasingly inflected in connection with a form of exchange of "surpluses" that we have in our homes, for "surpluses" from other households. It is basically a modern market without money. For example, we can exchange clothes, toys, books, sports equipment, furniture or even plants. Unnecessary things that we can't throw away just take up a place and sometimes remind us of a past that we don't want to give up. Swap is a great opportunity to "get rid" of such things and give them a second chance with someone else. We learn to use unused. We will swap in the premises of the Ľudovít Štúr Cultural House in Modra, on Sokolská Street no. 8.

The aim of the swap is to get the second chance of the new owner. From the swap we can bring home something new for us, satisfy our "shopping" needs, not to waste resources and not to burden our family budget.
♥ What things to bring to urban swap? ♥
Spring women's, men's, children's clothing and accessories: outerwear (jackets, coats 🧥, trenčkots, jackets), pants, jeans 👖, overalls, sweaters, cardigans, skirts, shirts 👔, blouses, dress 👗, tops 👚, accessories (hats 🎩 👒, scarves 🧣, handbags 👜, sunglasses 🕶, wallets). The things brought must be undamaged, clean, washed, fragrant, functional, complete, in short, in such a state and quality that you would not be ashamed to donate to others or wear yourself. We will be happy if you bring things to SWAP that will please and serve. Please do not wear underwear, swimsuit, dysfunctional, old or damaged things on Swap. If we find such things when taking clothes, we reserve the right to return their owner.
♥ How many things can you bring? ♥
There is a limit set for the first year of the city swap of clothing. Everyone can bring maximum 🔟KS of adult clothing. Children's clothing in adequate quantities, maximum 2 bags of 🛍 convenient dimensions (for example, a shopping Lidl bag). Things on Swap from you will be taken over on Friday, 14. Štúr on Sokolská ul. no. 8.
♥ How is SWAP going? ♥
City swap will start on Saturday 15. 2. 225 at 09.00 and will last until 13.00. At the entrance, each participant receives a bracelet. As part of the Swap Code of Ethics, every participant can take as many things as they actually use, but a maximum of 10 pieces. If you have brought something to the swap, you can take something. If you don't have anything to replace, don't mind. You can participate in the swap as a visitor and support it voluntary entry. We only take on what we actually use,
