Dear Račians,
the Department of Environment and Transport invites you to the swap of (un)NECESSARY gifts again this year, which will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. as part of the Račian Christmas Market 2025 in front of the German Cultural Center.
After the success of last year's first year, we are continuing this well-received tradition. The main idea of the swap is the meaningful use of things that were once given to us by someone with good intentions, but nevertheless remained put away in the closet in the hope that they will "come together again one day". Instead, you can give them a second chance - bring them to us and exchange them for a gift that you will really use or that will please your loved ones.
Swap is open to everyone who wants to support sustainability and at the same time enjoy the time before Christmas. The event will also include a children's theater at 10:30 a.m., and creative workshops from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., so families with children will also enjoy themselves.
Come exchange, recycle, have fun and maybe even find the right gift that will make someone else happy. We look forward to seeing you!
Gift SWAP rules:
• Piece by piece – you bring 1 gift – you take 1 piece, we do not deal with the value, only the exchange.
• New condition – gifts must be like new, ideally in the original packaging or in a completely flawless condition suitable for giving.
• Cosmetics – must be unopened and in the original packaging with a minimum shelf life 1 year.
• No food and living creatures or flowers. 🙂
