About event
Festive Christmas concert at Hogo Fogo Jazz & Art Club
20. December 2025 at 19:00
Hogo Fogo will close 2025 in style - with a magical Advent concert, where the nobility of early jazz, the charm of pre-war hits and the sparkling energy of a large dance orchestra will be combined. Sweet Little Chicks will perform on our stage together with the Zvolen big band and will create an evening that will bring the atmosphere of the good old days, elegant parties and the golden era of swing.
Sweet Little Chicks will transport you to the 20s and 30s with their authentic Andrews Sisters-style three-voice. They will perform songs of early American jazz, Charleston, but also popular pre-war tunes by F. K. Veselý. Special arrangements for the full sound of the brass section of the Zvolen big band were created for this festive evening - energetic, bright and danceable.
The performers of the evening are:
Vocals: Júlia Kuricová, Zuzana Harbutová, Lenka Moncoľová
Saxophones: Ľubor Batka (alto), Pavol Pondelík (tenor, clarinet), Kristína Harbutová (tenor), Miriam Golianová (alt/tenor), Jakub Uhliarik (baritone)
Piano: Pavol Kováč
Guitars: Martin Novák
Double bass: Róbert Ragan senior
Drums: Samuel Suja
Original program, exceptional cast and festive atmosphere of Advent – all this in the unique space of Hogo Fogo Jazz & Art Club.
