About event
The Friday Swingers is a Brno band that brings a fresh form of Gypsy swing and vintage jazz. It is based on Djang Reinhardt's work, but there are also American swing classics of authors such as George Gershwin or Cole Porter. In the repertoire you will find well -known standards such as All of Me or Fly Me To the Moon, elegant French flair (Coucou, Ménilmontant), a little eastern wilderness (Dark Eyes). The songs are mostly in English and French, but sometimes there is something Czech. Suitable for dancers! 💃
The set consists of two guitars, accordion, double bass, violin and singing. We play the music we love, and we are most pleased if you enjoy it with us. ❤️
