The Gookie
Where the Gandy does not rest
Silence, real death
Sýček is known as the Messenger of Death, but in Czech alternative music has always been a nickname for the music anti -Kruutrock, which included the domestic bands into their repertoires.
motor drums, hypnotic melodies, repetitive structures, minimalist texts and slogan less are more but this band has characterized from the first songs. Their debut album "I" (published at NAAB) was enthusiastically accepted by music critics in 2017. After the band has been abundant and completed by several European tours, but came a longer pause caused by the disintegration of the original South Bohemian line -up. Together with guitarist Richard Stein (humility) to the new formation, Jakub Zhanala (ex acute dose), Ambroz Shulaje (Kstní father) and Adam Krisovsky with Nataly (Grünt). album with laconic name "IV". The new group returns to where the Selček took off for the first time: to Krautrock's invocation, which brings fans to an intense trance. Again, great emphasis is also placed on Czech texts, which appear aluze on Indian poetry of Ladislav Novák, the embarrassing poetics of Egon Bondy, but also the current Czech poetry in the form of verses Radek Štěpánek or Štěpán Alexandra. The band also inspired the Symphony of the Horror of Nosferato from the DG307 on the motifs of the famous film F.W. Murnau. Artwork boards are in charge of the artist Štěpán Blaschko. Slovak band, oscillaujuci Medzi post-punkom and indie rockom, packed in pulsujuchy kruutrock Beatoch. However, the listener often surprises noisy, deconstructors with prog-rock passages, as timelessly incorporated with electronic and ambient music, which are all the time in News, not publishing material. The end of the year 2022 released their debut EP “References”, with which they played at Slovak and Czech festivals (Pohoda, Grape, Vivat Villa, etc.). Currently, in the new sharpening of the wares of warehouses that are already at the concert.
