The civic association Gallery wire cordially invites you to the 11th year of the traditional tinker exhibition, which
is the most visited tinker exhibition in Slovakia. The exhibition entitled "Rural Symbol"
will bring to the center of the capital the unique atmosphere of the calm countryside and silence - as a counterpoint
to the hustle and bustle of the city.
This year's theme “Rural Symbol” reflects the effort to bring a picture of peace to the urban environment,
Return to nature and roots. This is a symbolic solution of today's personal and social crises - escape
to silence and inner settlement. The exhibition arises as a result of an open challenge in which it was involved
More than 40 authors from all over Slovakia. Visitors can look forward to over 80 original works that
They were created specifically on this topic and will experience their premiere at our exhibition.
Among the most striking works of this year's exhibition will include 40 kilogram bear. Further exhibition
will also revive the rich meadow of wire flowers, some of them will be from the Czech author Věra cold
And the largest work of this year will also be a two -meter dove, which is the work of the club from the club
Džarek. At the exhibition you will also find a work by Zuzana Necpálová, whose wire form of apple stands out by its own

Regular participants of the exhibition are not only professional artists and craftsmen, but also children who
They attend tinkering courses. The exhibition will also participate in the group of OZ Wing, which works with people with
Mental disorders. Their joint work is an annual enrichment of the exhibition. An opportunity The participants of various craft courses will also be presented.
Tinkering has been included in the UNESCO Intangible Heritage List of UNESCO and
The exhibition aims to keep it alive, relevant and constantly developing. Within the 11th year
also realizes the first international participation of an Italian artist who exhibits in Slovakia for the first time -
