Plan of the workshop:
- Will you learn what synthesis and synth are?
- You will get to know the tools of Arturia MicroFreak and MiniFreak
- We will go over the basic elements of synthesis such as e.g. oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFO, etc.
- Discussion, sound samples
- Joint ensemble, where we all play together
We organize the workshop with the association Za Hranice S Hudbou. Their mission is to educate, motivate and inspire the next generation of professional and lay musicians. They cooperate with international and domestic lecturers, and their Summer Music Workshop is rated by graduates as the most formative musical experience.
About the lecturer:
Marek "Farebný" Osrman has been working with synthesizers for more than 9 years. Countless historical and modern instruments passed through his hands, either as part of the obsessive rotation of his own equipment, or as a reviewer for Nový Populár magazine. Under the name Farebny, he released two electronic EPs, played in the Amphision band and is currently playing keyboards in Lukáš Kovalčík's project. He enjoys everything about sound and likes to pass on his knowledge and love of electronic instruments.
We look forward to seeing you!
