Systems thinking in the daily practice of a public administration official
Event by: Pábení
Location: Kampus Hybernska, Hybernská 998/4, Praha 1
About event
Innovation studio Pábení and the BYRO platform invite you to a creative workshop that will focus on the practical use of systems thinking in solving strategic challenges in public administration.
Why are we organizing the workshop?
Public administration today faces complex and mutually interconnected problems such as climate change, social inequalities, unaffordable housing or energy transformation. These problems often require a change in approach, because classical, linear ways of solving them are not sufficient for their deeper and more complex nature.
Systems thinking helps to see the "bigger picture" - how individual parts of the problem are related to each other and how changes in one area they can manifest in others. Thanks to this, we can better predict the consequences of our decisions and find more sustainable solutions.
Why participate?
- You will learn how to apply systems thinking in decision-making and planning.
- You get specific tools and approaches that you can turn around include in your work agenda.
- You will have the opportunity to share experiences and examples of good practice with colleagues.
- Systematic Workshop - interactive and practically focused on real problems faced by public administration.
- Discussion and exchange of experiences on how to improve day-to-day decision-making through better understanding of interlinkages and long-term consequences.
