1. day 2024. 12.28. (Saturday)
Arrival at Nestville Park at 10:30, the time booked for our visit is 11:00. Nestville Park is the only and at the same time the most modern whiskey factory in Central Europe. We will visit the whiskey factory and take part in a whiskey tasting upon request. Admission: adults 8 Eur, non-residents 5 Eur, tasting of four types of whiskey 10 Eur. approx. We spend 2-3 hours there visiting the factory and shopping. chocolate factory and pastry shop, where you can buy a wide variety of chocolates, all local, artisanal sweets. On the other side of the road, just 100 meters away, there is a cheese and smoked goods shop, which is also part of Nestville Park.
From there we continue to the Red Monastery, where an interactive, very spectacular exhibition is presented by Carthau and Kamaldu monks. his life. Admission 4 Eur. Then we take a short walk on the banks of the Dunajec river in the immediate vicinity of the monastery, we can walk across the nearby bridge to Poland, right next to the bridge there are two churches, one modern and one old.

After breakfast, departure to Nagyőr at 9:00 a.m. Visiting the Renaissance castle and gallery, the largest Mednyánszky gallery is located here. Entrance: 3 Euros We continue to Késmár, located just a few kilometers away, where the Tatratea factory is also located. Due to the weekend, we cannot enter here, but we can see the famous emblem from the outside.
11:00 a.m. Késmárk, city tour, Thököly Castle, Thököly statue, walk in the city, the 300-year-old wooden church that is part of the World Heritage and the new Lutheran visiting the church. Admission: both churches together are 5 eur.
14:30 Departure home. Arrival in Hungary between 20:00 and 21:00.
