About event
🟡 90 years since the birth of Jan Němec will be commemorated with a selection of the director's films from 1996-2009 with the band "Tady Němec, leave a message." he was filming what was happening. He himself became a part of the film, which was born with every step and with every stop. That's also why he used to turn off the ringer on his phone so that he could immerse himself in unique situations, meetings, and confrontations. From Němc's phone, he heard a recorded call: "Here, German, leave a message."
For the ninetieth anniversary of the birth of Jan Němek, Ponrepo has prepared a selection of his works from the time when the German, as a great ironist and demiurge, sailed through his hometown to record his message for future generations. His individualistic perspective was so seductive and provocative as to hide the author's deep emotional preoccupation. Preoccupation with the world he returned to as a prodigal son to discover how much that world had changed in his absence.'
