"Bright spots - photographic highlights from the picture archive of the Austrian National Library"

17.00-18.00

The picture archive and graphics collection of the Austrian National Library are taking part in this year's Archive Day for the first time. As part of two free tours, you can expect an introduction to the image archive and graphic collection as well as a look behind the scenes. At 2:30 p.m., employees will show the steps from the original photo to digital archiving. At 5 p.m. you will not only find out how the archive can be used by anyone interested, but you will also get to know its holdings better through a presentation of selected original objects.
