About event
There are just a handful of spots remaining in our cohort that begins this fall, and applications close on Monday, August 18th!
This 6-month foundational program is designed both for those that aspire to teach yoga as well as students simply wishing to deepen their personal practice 💚
What does it mean to 'take root'?
🌱 begin to grow and draw nourishment from the soil through its roots
🌱 become fixed or established
Taking root is an active and cyclical process of growing, absorbing, and giving back to the soil. It's a tendriled, never ending approach of finding secure footing and building a support for oneself in the vastness that is the ecosystem of yoga.
Designed for heart-centered individuals looking to strengthen their connection to yoga, this 6-month foundational program will explore hatha, yin, and restorative styles, as well as an introduction to vinyasa.
Our time together with also includes pranayama, ayurveda, meditation, philosophy, anatomy, and more in this rich and well-rounded 200 hour training.
Students will have an opportunity to learn how to think critically, absorb, and reflect, to dig deeper and look for their 'why.'
Together, we'll explore yoga as a process that we engage with, leaning in to the power of community and group discourse.
Through svadhyaya (self-study), each participant can cultivate a sense of their own authentic voice, and learn how to lead (and how to receive) with their heart.
