About event
The Groningen roots band Them Dirty Dimes releases its first live album after two well-received albums: Spare Change. The Dimes dig into their deep pockets for their own material, supplemented with the most beautiful bluegrass and western oldies.
From Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival and Noorderzon to sold-out halls in Tivoli and VERA: Wherever they go, they build effortlessly a professional party! In addition to the catchy sing-along songs, the band also proves to have a number of Americana gems in its back pocket. Songs like Love on wheels and Hang on Rosie require an acoustic setting. With the latest album Spare Change, the band presents its very first live album in which drums, keys and wind instruments have been exchanged for fiddle, mandolin and banjo.
