About event
Takin'Off is an independent musical group that plays energetic dance music and will celebrate 25 years on the Czech music scene with this concert. The group produces, with exceptions, original compositions on the borders of funk, soul, pop, hiphop or R'n'B genres. The individual members of the group mostly also appear in other musical projects and are busy instrumentalists on domestic stages as well as sought-after studio players. Nowadays, Kateřina Romansová most often appears as a singer, and in addition to the five-member brass section, rapper Henry D is also an integral part of the band.
Henry D – voc, rap; Kateřina Romansová – voc; Jaroslav Kohoutek – suffering; Jan Šatra – trb; Jakub Klár – fl; Matouš Kobylka – sax; Petr Holovský – sax; Martin Kravka – b; Jaromír Čížek – PhD; Ondřej Fišer – g; Jan Plíšek – keys.

DJ Negative is one of the experienced technical DJs active on the Czech scene. He has been actively DJing since 1996. The turned crossfader on his first mixer gave rise to the pseudonym Negative. Over the years of playing, he has gained experience in various groups across genres - among the most famous projects are Stephunk T, Navigators, Notes From Prague, or Portless. He has been dedicated to club DJing since the beginning of his career and, in addition to scratching, it is his main domain on which he has concentrated. Between 2007 and 2012, he hosted his own show on Prague radio Spin. In 2022, he became multiple champion in the Czech-Slovak DJ competition IDA.
Stephunk T is a Czech musician and multimedia producer who has been performing live in many arenas around the world since 1990 . During this time he led various musical groups including Liquid Harmony. They were highly regarded in their day and toured throughout Europe and the US to rave reviews.
