Exhibition Name: Soft Crack, Brittleness, WHICH STILL Holds/Soft Crack, Fragility, which still holds

Vernisage: Friday 22. Intimate uncertainty in experiencing differences, language barriers or physical (non) possibilities of body box. The gallery's environment materializes the feelings of the loss of a stable limit of the existence of the human body, which does not meet the stereotypes of the conditional frameworks (self) presentation and, through painting, seeks its essence in differential entities and stories disrupting prejudice -shaped structures and hierarchization.
Layers of the meanings of the installation refer to the author's origin and her interest in examining the technique of traditional oil painting, but they also cooperate with AI and the symbolism of bodies or materials that create an organism in mutual Juxtapositions, cope
Tamara Conde *1995 (Mex/CZ)
Tamara Conde graduated from the FAVU Vut in Brno in the Malířstvi studio under the leadership of Petr Kvičaly, as well as Patricia Fexová and Veronika Vlková. In 2024 she completed a residential stay in the center of Schambad in Graz, attending the international exhibition The Second City of Brno. Together with Barbora Lung, she exhibited in Distillery Brno (2024) or separately in the postpost Gallery in Brno (2023) or the Mexican La Caja Galería (2024). The author often examines small, even invisible layers of bodies, people or other entities found in their physical matter or symbolism. It sometimes works with artificial intelligence, which he invites to the creation process and is inspired by its (un) organic ability to destruction and hybridization of the digital image. She is interested in the themes of emotional balance, passive perception and experiencing different layers of real estate or reflection of the very existence of the human body and its (in) abilities. It modifies people in contrasts and (also) interactions with other animals, plants and their parts, constantly testing the possibilities of the painting media itself. The author also expresses herself through performance actions and its intimate, but at the same time, the layers of symbols overgrown, reminds of the sense of humility and visibility of the meanings of interspecific life.
The Gallery Exhibition Program Interpretation for 2025 was supported by the Fund for the Support of Arts. The Gallery's interpretation partner is the City of Trnava.
