Come to Pragovka Gallery for another of this year's residence outputs on Thursday, March 20 at 18:00. The artist and researcher Tamara Spajković, who devotes himself to exploring the impact of urbanization on coexistence of various species in his work. Its residential project in Pragovka Gallery examines DE/generative blending of anthropogenic pressure and more than human plasticity through exploring the development of selected post -industrial location. The imagination is used to question the predominant narratives and perception of the area and to illuminate the potential of the place for coexistence of several species. The residential project focuses on the development of alternative narratives through experimenting with approaches to the visual and symbolic representation of the locality through the video medium.
The alternative vision of the locality is built through a fictitious narrative that specifically emphasizes the key role of resistance and history of multi -kind coexistence in transforming the concept of coexistence. The narrative is constructed using a network of characters, each embodies of a certain characteristic.
Spajković also examines ways to involve civil society in decision -making processes related to land -use planning.
