About event
We invite you to a magical meeting with the book TAMITOS - A Story of Understanding, which will take you to a fantasy world where reality blends with the magic of imagination. Together we will get to know the story of two sisters who learn to understand each other, as well as little tamitos frogs, unique creatures embodying different emotions from the entire spectrum of autism. The book gently and playfully shows that being different is okay and even beautiful.
You can read samples from the book and playfully discover themes of empathy and understanding. For parents and adults, we also offer the possibility of a short discussion about the topic of autism, the very creation of the book, and a little insight into the personal experiences of the authors.
We look forward to a joint meeting full of understanding, imagination and humanity.
