On May 7, Tanec na Touch will bring a full-day program dedicated to movement, the body and the perception of proximity to Nová Cvernovka. The tanC collective is preparing a workshop, a lecture on the implementation of dance projects and an evening site-specific performance, the Zone of Feeling, which explores touch, distance and the body as a tool of communication.
From the morning, the space will be open and accessible to everyone who wants to see, experience movement and its endless possibilities.

tanC is a collective that believes in art as a tool for personal and social development.
Their goal is to open up questions, break down stereotypes and rid people of fear of the unknown and misunderstood. The collective creates a space for free movement, creativity and dialogue in various forms and comes to Bratislava with the all-day program Dance to the Touch, which aims to appeal to students of art schools. tanC does not stop at the classic sharing of its experiences on the floor plan of the workshop, it also offers the sharing of practical information connected with the actual realization of artistic projects. It is through the lecture and the subsequent discussion that he wants to motivate the students to take the first independent steps towards the realization of their own ideas. The day spent together will close with a site-specific dance performance.
Zone of feeling is a site-specific dance performance that explores the theme of distance as a physical, emotional and choreographic principle. The project is based on the need to re-feel the body in space and touch as a basic form of interpersonal contact - a sensory moment that is often lost in the accelerated world of digital communication.
The aim of the project is to create a space for "experience" - where distance, proximity, touch or its absence gain new meaning. In a zone where everything is not obvious, movement becomes a carrier of meaning and a means of communication. The project invites the viewer to active observation, perception and feeling through physicality, closeness and sensitivity to the surroundings.
The work uses the principles of contemporary dance, contact improvisation, physical theater and movement research focused on sensory perception. Performers perceive the body as a "living sensor" that reacts to space, distance, touch and the viewer's impulses, thereby erasing the boundary between the performer and the audience.
