Sometimes words are not needed. All you need is music, movement and time, which changes right before your eyes. Dance Room by the legendary director Ettore Scola is a unique film experiment that tells the history of Europe through a single place - a dance hall in the suburbs of Paris. No dialogues. No explanation. Only dance, music and human destinies that meet and diverge in the rhythm of time. From the 1930s to the beginning of the 1980s, we watch how fashion, politics and the mood of society change - and how all this is reflected in the movements of people on the dance floor.
