TANGA ELEKTRA – an electro-acoustic free-style band from Berlin. Two brothers who are characterized by their passion for spontaneously improvised arrangements and irresistible grooves.
TANGA ELEKTRA perform throughout Germany, but also internationally in many European countries, e.g. B. Italy, Switzerland, Austria, England, Norway and even Brazil. They have repeatedly been musical guests at TEDx events in Berlin and Hamburg.
The band played a 22-concert tour with the Ohrbooten, supported Käptn Peng, Flo Mega and Wallis Bird, among others, and won first place in the music category at the FRITZ Radio Night of Talents in the Admiralspalast in Berlin.
Tanga Elektra's unique live setup makes them innovators:
Davids Violin uses guitar effects to filter rhythmic pizzicato melodies, create thick bass lines and create lush string sections.
The live-produced elements are captured with a loop station in order to merge into an unmistakable thong-electra sound in the duo's open interaction.
David's dynamic soul-funk voice hisses unerringly like Cupid's arrow across this colorful, rhythmic carpet of sound - directly into the Listener's mood.
Elias' drums provide the irresistible kick that instantly sets everything around him in motion, while he loves to spontaneously euphoriate the audience with his rap alter-ego Boy DADA.
This mix simply emotionalizes and makes every cell in the body celebrate.
Violin techno? Drum’n’violin? New Soul? – TANGA FUNK!
