Tangomoania: Ivana Ecetová Quartet

The emotionally dense concert program combines passion, melancholy and musical virtuosity in the interpretation of tango.

Ensemble dedicated to the rich and emotionally intense world of Argentine tango, with a particular focus on Tango Nuevo. At the center of the project is the singer Ivana Ecetová, together with three outstanding musicians who share a deep artistic sensitivity and passion for this distinctive musical language.

At the heart of the repertoire is the music of Astor Piazzolla, the pioneering composer and performer who redefined traditional tango by combining it with elements of classical music, jazz and Argentine folk music. The program is complemented by works by important composers of traditional Argentine tango, including Carlos Gardel and Sebastián Piana.

The dramaturgy of the project is characterized by the strong contrasts that make up the spirit of South American musical culture - passion, intensity, melancholy and nostalgia. With expressive songs in Argentine Spanish as well as instrumental tangos and milongas, the ensemble creates an impressive and atmospherically dense concert experience that impresses with authenticity, emotional depth and artistic sophistication.
