About event
An autobiographical performance about the extraordinary actress and singer Hana Frejková as an archeology of the personal past
Between slightly dusty stand-up and quiet metaphorical images, a story about finding one's own place in the world, a story about a woman's unceasing energy is told , who involuntarily became the heroine of an ancient tragedy, but still did not give up. About a woman who resolves her relationship with her mother, strives for her professional classification, strives for a complete family where both parents and children work together, and last but not least, she wants to apply herself in the last period of her life! In dialogue with dancer Markéta Jandová, sound designer Martin Tvrdý and director Miřenka Čechová, Hana Frejková delves into memories of childhood, involuntary exclusivity, and comments wittily on the position of an aging woman - an artist, to whom theater brings one of the important meanings of life. Hana Frejková was born in London, where her parents emigrated just before the beginning of the 2nd century. war. The father, Ludvík Frejka, an economist (originally named Ludwig Freund) came from an assimilated Jewish family in Liberec. The mother, Alžběta Frejková, an actress (née Elisabeth Henke-Warnholtz) came from a wealthy business family in Hamburg.
