About event
Ťapákovci - Prešov
"Get up, we're going to sleep!" - an unforgettable and so characteristic sentence from the tragicomic story of the Slovak Ťapakov family from the beginning of the 20th century. With their lazy, indifferent and senseless way of thinking and acting, the Ťapákovs show us that not much has actually changed in over a hundred years. Although our society advances technologically by leaps and bounds, the outlook on the world, the approach to solving vital problems and patterns of human behavior remain largely the same.
Author: Bozena Slančíková Timrava
Screenplay: Ondrej Šulaj
Dramatization and direction: Viktor Vincze senior
