Location: Rigaer Str. 9, Rigaer Straße 9, Berlin - Bezirk Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg
About event
Tavare began playing together in Berlin in 2020 and created reduced, minimalist music-slow, fragmentary songs with sparse vocal lines and harmonies-that reminds of the retro-slowcore sound of the 90s as well as contemporary plot forms and structures. In November 2024, the trio published its debut 7-inch single "Ghosts" at the British label Champion version and in June 2025 its first album "Too Small to Be So High" at God Unknown Records. Cruel Nature and Katuktu Collective.
The trio consists of Aidan Baker, who originally comes from Canada, but has been living in Berlin for over a decade and has made music both solo and with various groups, especially the Dreamsludge duo Nadja, which ranges from ambient/experimental to drone jazz; Tristen Bakker, also from Canada, who as a solo artist and with groups like Vrouw! and Otolitos soft-noise, prog, ambient and punk music makes; And Angela Muñoz, a musician, dancer and performer from Spain, who plays with several groups, including Nunofyrbeeswax, Vrouw! And (also with AIDAN) Hypnodrone Ensemble.
Geistæ is a post-rock band that was founded in Berlin in 2021 and is located there. Your music interweaves complex sound and emotional levels. href = "www.instagram.com/tavaretrio/"> www.instagram.com/tavaretrio/
