About event
22.05.2025/ Art Gallery Brno/ Tea/ Metamorphoses
With her latest creative project, in which the woman becomes the centerpiece of the mythical and contemporary world, the Tea sculptor plays a visually poetic game of molds, shapes and meanings. It enters a dialogue with ancient stories, especially with Ovidium changes. Statues, objects and sit-specific installations, complemented by authorial poems, form a multilayered space where a woman appears as a goddess, muse, victim and actor of the transformation. Tea as a figural sculptor, material experimenter and poet develops her own interpretation line, which oscillates between material and word, between archetypes and myths, hidden intimacy and corporeality. The exhibition invites the viewer to slow down in the perception of fine shifts and to find their own interpretations in stories that have persisted for ages. Yet they carry a print today.
