About event
🗓️Off-Space Gallery of the Artbiom showcase and the Festival of Knowledge of Knowledge cordially invite you to the exhibition Liquid Bodies, which will take place from 9. 6.
from 19:00 BC ARTBIOM, FRYDLANTSKÁ 26, Performance subsequently at 19:20 Ibid. Benedikte Beate Hansen and Natalia Košková Water as a symbol of the turbulent unconscious and hiding of our inner monsters. In the context of hydrofeminism, water provides space for exploring the relationships between different organisms and their environments because they pass through the bodies of all who live in a certain ecosystem. People share the water of their bodies through various exchanges (drinks, sweat, evaporation, urination, etc.) with plants and various other non-human beings around them.
This disrupts the idea of radical autonomy of the body and leads to thinking in terms of fluidity, eg (O/á) and sharing material of different bodies. At the same time, this idea also leads to a reflection of ecological justice, because fluids across different bodies need to be cared for. When all the water source is contaminated, all bodies across the ecosystem are contaminated.
🪡 Privation are curated by Barbora Bahlsenová and Tomáš Samek. Performance Washaway speaks to the water inside our bodies, from the point of view of the cow are presented dairy connections - suction, drooling, crawling, chewing, waving, swinging.
