About event
Autumn cycle of 14 lessons of somatic movement and dance, open to everyone regardless of advancedness. Come to immerse yourself in your body and examine the movement of it directly from it and subsequently in cooperation with other dancers and dancers.
On the lessons we will slow down, soften and deepen perceptions - to examine the breath, touch and part of the body through the experiential movement work, which we connect with the improvisation and technique of contemporary dance. The lessons will also lead to the perception of poetry of dance, their and others.
What will we do? These help to relax the body, expand movement possibilities and deepen your relationship with the body. More advanced dancers bring deepening the presence and new quality of movement, beginners sensitive entry into the dance without pressure on performance. The experiential part of the lesson will then lead to the opening of attention from the inside of the body out - to the space and other dancers and on some lessons to the non -violent handover of the technique of contemporary dance according to the current needs of the group. If you are unsure whether it is right for you, come and try the first hour to take place in the form of open class. 11., 27. 11., 4. 12., 11. 12., 18. For other lessons, we recommend that you participate in the whole cycle, if it is not possible for you, we can arrange one -off input.

In the autumn of 2022 I completed an intensive program for TIP - Schule Für Tanz, Improvisation und Performance (Freiburg, Germany). Since 2023 I have been leading dance lessons for the public, I also focus on my own work or as a performer I participate in projects of others in the field of dance and movement theater. As a dancer I regularly participate in the evenings and laboratories of freeforms (Brno, Vienna, Trieste) - dialogues between improvised music, dance and other artistic forms.

Tereza Juráková At that time, movement helped me stay in contact with myself and the world - and since then it has been my home. I was educated in somatic dance, improvisation and above all instant composition among many European teachers, most of the Roberta Legros, but also in Lily Kiara, Mayi M. Carroll or Agostina d´Alessandro. Today I act as a performer and I am increasingly attracting my own work. On the lessons I pass on what I learned from my teachers, and at the same time I stay alone in the role of the discoverer - because dance is a non -ending dialogue.
