Dark History and Heroes: Assassination of Heydrich

When: Sunday 18th May 2025 about 17 hours. Cyril and Methodius (Resslova Street)
Join us on a historic walk that will take you to places associated with one of the most dramatic chapters of Czech history - assassination at Reinhard Heydrich. During this walk we will visit key locations where important events associated with the resistance against the Nazi occupation took place. On the route:
1. Meeting: Metro Kobylisy at 10 am We will explain the importance of this area during World War II.
2. This place will remind us of the tragic consequences of the resistance.
3. You will learn the stories of these heroes. We will discuss in detail the Anthropoid operation and its importance.
5. The Church of St. Cyril and Methodius (Resslova Street) There was a heroic defense that became a symbol of Czech resistance to Nazism. This walk is not only a great opportunity for the hearing, but also for the deaf, thanks to the guide who performs in sign language.
