The

film captures three Armenian generations in the village of Tališ in Nagorno Karabakh. People try to live a normal life, but are preparing for the next war between Armenia and Azerbaijan. In 2016, the Armenian population had to escape. Now they come back here after three years.

The boys Avo and Samvel are playing on their school's ruins and training weapons in teaching. The young man Erik performs compulsory military service. Veteran Karen remembers the last fighting. Three stories are a metaphor of the history of the endless conflict.

In 2020, Azerbaijan reaches and gains a large part of the territory. Like the soldier Erika, the phantom's foot pain he lost in the trenches, the Armenian population mourns for the lost ground. People still know that such a tragedy was not the last. Her other act takes place in 2023.
