About event
Does it still make sense to stay in Slovakia if you are an LGBTI+ person? How far will the government be able to go to the chilling campaign against the rainbow community? Do we do enough as a community to prevent an increase in intolerance to LGBTI+ people? And does Queer really live abroad better? Does going abroad really mean interruption of contact with Slovakia?
We will talk about it together with the entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist Matej Ftáčnik, who decided to move to Prague also for the growing homophobia, as well as IT consultant Peter Volek, who is afraid of developments in Slovakia and starts to think about leaving the country. The debate will be moderated by Roman himself. The debate will be in Slovak. Live heating plant is a series of discussions that approaches the lives and stories of LGBTI+ people, and through enlightenment it strives to build a more kind and fair society. The event was supported by Rosa Luxembourg-Stiftung, representation in the Czech Republic.
