69 EYES' most successful album to date "Devils" was released on October 24, 2004. It was more flamboyant and rockier than previous albums, bringing the band to the forefront of dark and melancholic goth and love metal loving audiences worldwide - and more openly flirtatious with American popular culture. If there's one song that The 69 EYES are famous for, it's their "Lost Boys," which pays homage to the endless nocturnal romps of the California vampires from the movie of the same name.
THE 69 EYES is now heading to Prague's Rock Café to play not only the entire album, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, but also its Best Of set!
They will open Friday night with one of their rousing acoustic concerts by American singer and guitarist Dan Reed. Dan became famous above all as the frontman of the band Dan Reed Network, which in the nineties toured all over the world and, for example, appeared as a special guest of the Rolling Stones at their legendary first performance in Bohemia in Prague at Strahová in 1990. In recent years, in addition to music Dan also devotes himself to painting and film, but the stage remains his great love.
