About event
Portland’s ska and reggae scene comes together for one unforgettable night as three of the city’s heavy hitters share the stage. The Bandulus, The Cascadians, and Buddy Jay’s Jamaican Jazz Band represent the heart and soul of the Northwest’s deep-rooted Jamaican music revival — each bringing their own flavor to the mix.
From the soulful rocksteady and gritty grooves of The Bandulus, to the rootsy rhythms and melodic horns of The Cascadians, to the smooth, jazz-infused vibes of Buddy Jay’s, this lineup showcases the full spectrum of vintage Jamaican sound, Portland-style.
