About event
In more than thirty years, The Brian Jonestown Massacre released more than twenty albums. With contributions of no fewer than fifty different band members over the years, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Anton Newcombe remains the floating creative power behind the band.
From the first releases that scoured against Shoegaze and psychedelic rock from the 1960s, Newcombe has had different corners of the Soncombe. From raw rock and roll and melancholic folk to noisepop and fuzzy, distorted sound experiments-his musical journey remains unlimited. The last show of the band in the Melkweg dates back to 2016 - time for the long -awaited return of this cult band.
