The Cat Empire releases 10. Studio album called Bird in Paradise, will be released on Friday, March 21, at BMG Australia. This album was born from pure energy and spontaneity and is closer to the experiment than for a sophisticated project. Singer Felix Riebl imagined the album inspired by flamenco for a long time, the seeds the band planted the penultimate album Where The Angels Fall, and now bloomed in an electrifying comprehensive ensemble. Bird in Paradise means a triumphant return to a more organic living sound. At the beginning, the band made a bold decision to avoid the standards of modern music production, and instead decided to capture the magic of playing together in one space. The result is electrifying - an album that bursts with vitality and draws you directly into the center of the action as if you were in the band testing room, and with each tone sucking their undeniable chemistry. The originally intended collection of individual songs began to take a clearer form only during the first days of recording. The title track was even written in the whirlwind of the night just before the start of the recording - as if symbolizing the chaotic creativity that defines the album. The whole course was dynamic and playful, children of the band members danced in the studio and shared a sense of common musical joy that permeates every note. Since the beginning of writing he has stood alongside the main members of the band (Felix Riebl, Ollie McGill and Ross Irwin) longtime collaborator Richard Tedesco, and together they enriched the sound of strings, breaths and elaborate arrangements. Cuban trumpeter Lazaro Numa added a new dimension to the wind section, co -author of four songs on the album is singing bassist Grace Barbé. The whole ensemble leaned on individual strengths to create a recording celebrating the common talent of this music family. The song "La Gracia" is a pulsating tapestry of global influences, inspired by the first way of trumpeter Lazarus with the band to Spain, "Blood on the Stage" reflects the energy of the European tour. The 'Doing Fine' is then a self -confirming eruption of liveliness, overflowing with sharp dynamics. . It is a kaleidoscope of cultures woven into their unmistakable sound, which makes each song a global experience. Bird in Paradise is a comprehensive masterpiece not only sound but also visually. The artist Giulia McGauran formed the cover of the albums at a time when the band was immersed in the recording process, resulting in a stunning carnival aesthetics that perfectly complements the sound. The name is not just a smart game with words; It is a reminder that birds belong to paradise and, like music, have their natural home. It is a testimony of their ability to create worlds in their music - worlds that are wide, colorful and authentic. With Bird in Paradise The Cat Empire, they prove that they do not just do music; They build a link that does not stop surprising, inspire and keep up. Born Out of Raw Energy and Spontaneity, This Record Began as An Experiment Rather Than and Deliberate Project. Lead Singer Felix Riebl Had Long Envisioned and Flamenco-inspired album, and the Seeds for This Idea-Planged During Sessions for Their Last Album Notably Poppier by the Cats' Standards, With and Polisted Production and Vibrant, Colourful Sound, Bird in Paradise Marks and Triumphant Return to and More Organic, "live in the Room" Sound. FROM The Outset, The Band Made the Bold Decision to Ditch the Fragmented Methods of Modern Production, Opting to Capture the Magic of Musicians Playing Together in the Sam Space. Action, as if you’re right there with the band, soaking in every note of their undeniable chemistry. Initially intended AS and Collection of Individual Tracks, The Album Began to Take Shape Within the First Few Days of Recording. The Title Track Was Even Written in A Whirlwind, Late-Night Session Just Before Recording Began-Emblem of the Chaotic Creativity That Defines the Album. The Process Was Dynamic and Playful, With Members of the band’s Children Dancing in the Studio and Shared Sense of Musical Joy That Permeates Every Note. Longtime Collaborarator Richard Tedesco, Alongside The Core Band Members - Felix Riebl, Ollie McGill and Ross Irwin, Were involved Early in the Writing Process, Enriching the Sound With Strings, Horns, and Subtle, Intricate Arrarangements. Band Member Lazaro Numa’s Contributions to Horn Section Added Another Layer of Depth, Grace Barbe Co-Wrote Four of the Tracks on the Album Family. 'La gracia' is and vibrant tapestry of Global Influences, Inspired by Trumpeter Lazaro’s First Journey to Spain with the band. 'Blood on the stage' Channels The Pulsating Energy of the Cat Empire’s European Tour. 'Doing Fine' is a self-confirming burst of vibrancy, brimming with edgy and dynamic energy. IT’s and Kaleidoscope of Cultures Woven Into Unmistakable Sound, Making Every Track and Global Experience. Visually and Sonically, Bird in Paradise IS and Cohesive Masterpiece. Giulia McGauran, The Artist Behind the Album’s Artwork, Created the Visuals While The Band Were in the Depths of Recording, Resulting in A Stunning, Carnivalsque Aesthetic That Perfectly Complements The Sound. The Title Isn’t Just and Clever Play on Words; it’s and reminder That Birds Belong in Paradise Too, Much Like the Music Her Finds Its Natural, Vibrant Home.
HONED OVER TWO DECADES. It’s and testament to their Ability to Create Worlds within Their Music --worlds That Are Expansive, Colourful, and Authentic. With bird in paradise, The Cat Empire Prove They're Not Just Making Music; They're Building and Legacy That Continues to Surprise, Inspire, and Soar.
