The cat empire come with a new album to Germany
The Cat Empire from Australia stand with its sound for the finest musical diversity. The (now) six -member formation can literally be put into no drawer in terms of its own musical direction. The longer you hear through the lush discography of the group, the more genre descriptions can be added to the already long list. From jazz to reggae, ska, funk, latin to rock or hip-hop, the Australians miss out almost no genre to put together their life-affirming overall sound. In 1999 Oliver McGill, Felix Riebl and Ryan Monro have already merged as The Cat Empire and have grown over the years on a size of six members, who once changed completely two years ago. Already the self-titled debut album from 2003 introduced the merged mix sound, which focuses from the start-in addition to the singing of Felix Riebl-brass. Further longplayers and live works join the debut album in a strong clock-a collection that is already supplemented by the new album "Bird in Paradise" at the end of March. The tenth studio album by The Cat Empire will be inspired by Flamenco and combine a wonderful mix of global influences with a wide mix of languages and sound influences. With the new album, the Australians will also go on tour - in October this year. The “Bird in Paradise”- album tour also makes five stops in Germany.
