About event
Hell Xis in partnership with Fantaxtik Events present the return to Portugal from the British The Chameleons, one of the most important groups of the world post-punk movement.
The Manchester Band, which enlightens an enviable status in Portugal (debuted in our country in 1984, in the late Rock Rendez-Vous), brings four decades of history and classic records, essential and unavoidable in the 80s, such as “Script of the Bridge” (1983-considered by many to be the best album of the genre) ? BASICALLY ”(1985) and“ Strange Times ”(1986). Fulcrals in Manchester's post-punk scene, The Chameleons, led by charismatic Mark Burgess (and accompanied by the returned founding guitarist Reg Smithies), are referred to as influence by bands such as Oasis, The Verve or Editors, among other more or less contemporary names.
On June 18 and 19 special opportunity to see (or review) this classic live name, at RCA Club in Lisbon and Mouco Sala, in Porto. Tickets for sale at Clockwork Store.
