_____br/> The Chisel was created at the beginning of 2020 and after three successful singles they released their fourteen -stock debut at the end of 2021 through La Vida Es Un Mus. They immediately ranked among the most hopeful punk bands next to Chubby & The Gang, High Vis, Stingray or Big Cheese. Their eclectic sound is based on the classic island punk, but logically mixes the OI!, Anarcho-Punk, UK-82 and Hardcore, authentically combining the sound of early eighty with current trends on the British punk scene. Although The Chisel is engaged in typical topics such as police brutality, drug addiction or adolescence in the work-class of Blackpool, most of the compositions almost obsessively honor the classic chandelier. Already after a few concerts, things like Retaliac, Tooth & Nail or Not the Only One have become anthems and distract from their inspirational patterns to the band itself. The second album What and Fucking Nightmare is the perfect soundtrack for quite a fair rampage of a crumbling society in which nothing works, and where everyone seems to be permanently pissed off with the state of things.
As a support we add quite logically kung-fu garlz. Masters of procrastination, which saves their lives, draw inspiration from punk and oi! bands 80. And their version gives a completely original way that can act as an epileptic seizure. Prague for Life, Kladno in Heart. They Immediales Ranked Among the Most Promising Punk Bands of Today, Alongside Chubby & The Gang, High Vis, Stingray and Big Cheese.
