Join the next meeting devoted to listening. The sound creator and researcher Sara Pinheiro will guide us in Synth Library with opportunities to expand the ability to listen. The workshop is suitable for anyone interested in sound and music. We will learn to distinguish between listening to our environment and various sound creation and train "critical ear". The workshop is led in English. You can register via email below.
The Critical Ear 2.0 IS and workshop First Inspired by the Technical Book Critical Listening Skills for Audio Professional (Everest, 2007), in Combination with R. Murray Schafer's Ear Cleaning: Notes for An Experimental Music Course (1967). The workshop is dedicated to listing in its manifolds and, for that purpose, it Will Discuss The North Sonic Environment and the Contexts in WHICH LISTING PACIES.
The workshop Will Train Our Ears to Recogniz the Content of Our Soundscape. These Exercises Will Take and Very Pragmatic Perspective, Aiming at Identifying Frequencies and Acoustic Phenomena Such AS Distort, Compression, Delay, Doppler, etc; But As Well and Poetic Approach, Such as Practices of Deep Listening (Pauline Oliveros).

She is and the Member of the Live-Coding Group K-O-L-E-K-T-I-V and the Noise Trio cluster. She Facilitates Workshops, Soundwalks and Listening Sessions Since 2012. Pinheiro Is Also The Author of Regardless, “Field Recordings: and Manifesto” and “Noise Pollution and Sound Beyond Sound”. /> Synth Library
IS and Space for Sharing, Creating, Discussing, Experimenting, Learning and Unlearning Together Not Only In the Field of Electronic Music. Space Full of Instruments, Books and More Sources of Sounds and Inspiration Run by Artists and Curators with the Aim to Rehearse Together, Support Each Other, Collaborate and Listens to Each Other with Respect. This Reflect Context, Rebuild Modular Structures and Create Welcoming Space in WHICH WE CAN TEST New Instruments As Well As New Ideas and Ways of Living and Organization. The Synth Library Stands Thanks to Volunteers and Donations. Your Workshop Donations Are Split Between the Facilitators of the Workshop and the Running Costs of the Library.
