The Defacto Halloween Screening - Magic/Dog Soldiers
Event by: Jacob Sullivan
Location: De Facto cafébar, Rumunská 124/24, Praha 2
About event
Greeting once again, for our Halloween screening. In previous years we have screened Brain Dead and Evil Dead 2, and it just gets harder to narrow down choices!
This Halloween, we're offering a choice for our attending audience.
If we desire more psychological horror, then we have Magic from 1978, in which Anthony Hopkins plays a struggling magician who take up a ventriloquism act, and as his own struggles with mental health worsen, the doll appears to take on a life of its own...
If we desire more action-driven horror, then we have Dog Soldiers from 2002, where a group of British soldiers find themselves in the Scottish Highlands and have to fight off werewolves until the sun rises.
Given the relative obscurity of one of these films, there will only be a Czech subtitles option available for Dog Soldiers. English subtitles will be provided for Magic, but we will see if any Czech subtitles can be sourced.
Looking forward to seeing you for some classic horror viewing!
