The Divine Comedy in Paradiso

The Divine Comedy is the musical alter ego of the Northern Irish singer-songwriter Neil Hannon. He is known for his astute baroque doll, in which he interweaves humor and literary references with layered symphonic music. His breakthrough came in 1996 with the album "Casanova", followed by the successful "Fin de Siècle" in 1998, with the hit "National Express". In addition to his work with The Divine Comedy, Hannon has also composed music for popular British TV series such as Father Ted and The It Crowd. In 2022 he celebrated the 30-year jubilee of the band with the release of the box set "Venus, Cupid, Folly and Time", an extensive collection of remastered albums and new material.
