About event
Lysergic Emanations – 40 Year Anniversary Tour.
In 1985 The Fuzztones released “Lysergic Emanations”, not only their best-known album but one of the albums that led the revival of the garage sound of the mid-80s and why not say it, one of the best garage punk, garage rock and roll albums, garage fuzz or whatever you want to call it, never published.
It's been exactly forty years since that and what better way to celebrate it than by going out to celebrate it on the road, where the band has lived since its formation in New York in 1980. Yes, another great date that also deserves celebration, forty-five years have passed since Rudi Protrudi gave them shape.
“Lysergic Emanations - 40 Year Anniversary Tour” is going to be a celebration of that album, so the band has prepared a special set list in which they will review all the songs from the album along with others that appeared on singles, maxis, compilations and other artifacts from that primeval era.
And to complete an unforgettable night we have added The Smoggers, without a doubt one of the bands that have best known how to assimilate the sound and legacy of the Fuzztones and one of the leading bands of current European garage.
