Do you know what lazórke, faldovačky or kordybánky are?
And what picórové střevíce look like?
No?
Come to a guided tour of the exhibition Footwear. A reflection of tradition.
You will learn about an interesting exhibition project that was created in cooperation between the Moravian Museum and the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of Tomas Bata University in Zlín. Within it, students of the Shoe Design Studio drew direct inspiration from the collection items of the Moravian Museum in their work.
During a guided tour with the curator of the exhibition, you will also learn more about the history of the shoemaker's craft and the direction of contemporary shoe design. You will see that historical footwear can be an excellent source of inspiration for today's young creators, who transform traditional elements and technologies into modern design in a novel way and at the same time preserve them for the future.
