In recent years, she has built a firm place on the alternative scene thanks to her fresh and original sound that combines contagious melodies, rhythmic energy and unconventional instruments - especially cello in the hands of the charismatic frontman Calvin Langman. Together with other band members, they have been an inseparable bunch since 2016, which has broken down stereotypes about how to sound modern pop-rock. Their music is based on India's rock, alternative pop and power-pop, but often combines elements of classical music or punk energy.
The Happy Fits concerts are known for their explosive atmosphere and distinctive humor: Calvin runs on stage with cello, the audience sings every chorus, and at every tour the band is trying to create a unique atmosphere. It is interesting that Calvin Langman began as a classic cellist and got into the rock band almost by chance.
It is the combination of a classic tool with an electric guitar and drums that has become their cognitive sign. The Happy Fits are proof that honest, honest and imaginative music still has its place in the world - and can still combine people, dance and impress.
