The Happy Fits en Barcelona

We are used to putting ourselves in front of a stage and discovering that the main voice of a band also takes the guitar. Or bass, why not? We are even more or less familiar with singers who, in a coordination display, also sit on the battery. It is much more unusual is that of The Happy Fits. And it is that the vocalist of this atypical New Jersey band, Calvin Langman, also fulfills functions of ... Chelista! "I grew up playing the classic cello. And when we started the band, I simply did not feel like playing the bass. So I decided to do with the cello every note I would have done with the bass and people seemed like to like it," Langman told in an interview. Character (impossible not to imagine yourself starring in the custom comedy of the season as soon as it begins to sound) of this quartet addicted to turns and surprises. His exultant songs function as a conversely room escape: the impulse when listening to them is more and more from the exit in search of the next melodic pull. The Happy Fits will perform on September 24 in Madrid (the basement) and on September 25 in Barcelona (Vol Sala).
