We invite you to the musical double night of Unravel The Random! Live 2024 The double concert will be opened by vocalist and guitarist Marjari, indie singer and discovery of the current Czech alternative folk scene.
Marjari (CZ)
Her real name is Martina Činátlová from České Budějovice, she is known for her characteristic style in which she combines layers of guitar sequences recorded on looper with soft and fragile vocals.
Last year she released her first EP and several singles, and this year she brought her debut album called "Hey Girl", which was created in collaboration with a backing band (bass, drums). On the album, the author returns to personal themes that are also reflected in her previous songs. and noisy passages and in the epic gradations of his songs. The band built its sound for several years on the ruins of shoegaze and the influence of bands like Slowdive, Lush or Ride.
With the new album Unravel, they deviate from the original nineties inspirations. The new sound of Manon meurt surprises with the ease of natural blending of genres - from trip hop to darkgaze, to ambient folk with dives into the swirling chaos of dream pop...
They have a rich concert history, they have traveled all over Europe and the UK, played at festivals ESNS, MENT, Reeperbahn, Pohoda, Colors of Ostrava, Pop Messe, Beseda u bigbítu, Nürnberg Pop, ...
A new album created together with producer Eddie Stevens (Moloko, Zero 7, Róisín Murphy and Jana Kirschner), released on Minority Records in April this year.

Slovak post-rock stalwart The Ills released their expected sixth studio album Life Is Random in May of that year. This time, the traditionally instrumental recording is accompanied by lyrics that complement the atmosphere of strong compositions.
The album was preceded by the single I Was Riding My Bike To Work When I Realized I Have No Job, which premiered on the cult radio station KEXP in Seattle.
Pandemic, loneliness, frustration, psychological and existential problems, social situation, overpressure of negative emotions and of course war. Feelings of illogicality, chaos and absurdity of life.....but also insight, joy, friendship, humor and the desire not to lose optimism.
The Ills are back in a new line-up and with a new album. And as KEXP's Kevin Cole himself says, it's an epic transcendental math rock masterpiece! What more to add.
