About event
It was the spring of 2023 and the Richter scale was registering a seismic movement in British guitar pop strong enough to put everyone on alert. Seemingly emerging from nowhere, suddenly, The Last Dinner Party released Nothing Matters, their debut single: a perfect song around which several generations could agree due to its collision between Katebushian theatricality and punk urgency. An instant hit that was not ashamed of its intensity and stridency. Quite the opposite: Abigail Morris, Lizzie Mayland, Emily Roberts, Georgia Davies and Aurora Nishevci championed this.
When they released their first album in February 2024 under the title Prelude to Ecstasy, in a way they were already late: the ecstasy around The Last Dinner Party had already been unleashed a long time ago. A snowball that the quintet fueled with a tour in which they seemed to shout in our faces that they had come to stay.
The Last Dinner Party, who are already preparing for the arrival of a second album that will be called From the Pyre, will be released on October 17 and will multiply the ecstasy even more, they will perform on February 10 at La Riviera and on February 11 at Razzmatazz. It will be his debut in Madrid and his return to Barcelona after passing through the 2024 edition of Primavera Sound.
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 10 - MADRID (LA RIVIERA)
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11 - BARCELONA (RAZZMATAZZ)
