The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers - Extended Version

They're taking the hobbits to Isengard! Peter Jackson's groundbreaking LOTR trilogy remains one of the highlights of blockbuster cinema more than twenty years after its release. For many, this was also the first introduction to the world of orcs, elves, vast green landscapes and epic battles. This year we can happily prepare for a new film adaptation of the beloved fantasy world of J.R.R. Tolkien! In honor of the release of The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, we are once again showing the Extended Versions of the original trilogy. All screenings include intermission.

Frodo and Sam continue towards Mordor to complete their task of destroying the magic ring. They receive help from an unexpected source. Meanwhile, Merry and Pippin try to escape the Orcs, and Legolas, Aragorn and Gimli help King Theoden of Rohan in his battle against the armies of Saruman.
