About event
An ancient legacy of terror is unleashed when the cursed mummy, Imhotep, is resurrected along with a force even more powerful: the Scorpion King. Now, as the fate of all mankind hangs in the balance, Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) and his wife Evie (Rachel Weisz) embark on a daring, desperate race to save their son—and the world—from unspeakable evil.
🎤 Before the film, catch a special presentation in English by historian Lukas Kubin - Egypt: From Herodotus to Hollywood
👉 What if everything we think we know about Ancient Egypt—its tombs, treasures, and even its curses—is not merely history, but a mirror reflecting our own longing for eternity?
👉 Some things to look forward to:
- Learn how mummies were actually made and why we’re still so obsessed with them
- Discover why the pyramids were far more than just tombs
- Hear the untold stories of the women who transformed the field of Egyptology
